The World Cultural Tour 2027 runs on volunteers — from the people who plan it for months to the people who show up for a single shift in September. There's a role built for however much time you have to give.
We're building our early interest list now so we can reach out the moment roles open — no commitment required until you say so.
Tell us what you're interested in. We'll email you the moment official sign-ups open — first.
Team Lead applications open first. General Volunteer shift sign-ups follow shortly after.
Three days at Cathedral Park, including a Field Trip Day serving up to 500 Portland students.
Both tiers are essential. Team Leads shape how the event runs; General Volunteers are who attendees actually meet.
For reliable, regular volunteers who want to own a piece of the event from planning through execution.
For anyone who wants to show up, lend a hand, and be part of the festival — single shifts welcome.
WCT 2027 is free for every attendee. Volunteer labor is what makes that possible — there's no ticket revenue covering the gap.
Field Trip Day brings hundreds of Portland students to experience 15–25 cultures in a single afternoon. It runs entirely on volunteer escorts and coordinators.
Many of our Team Leads started as single-shift General Volunteers the year before. There's room to grow into more responsibility over time.
No commitment, no spam — just an early heads-up and the ability to claim your preferred role before shifts fill up.
